And now that more info is getting out, it seems that the officials and those in the know are attributing the heart attack to the use of steroids. Apparently Erik was very depressed and distressed and unhappy with his life. He even stated in a blog post at age 27 that he figured he’d be done for by 30, if he even made it to 30. He apparently didn’t want to live…… and he got his wish. So sad. Why didn’t anyone reach out to him and help him get the help he needed? Was he adamantly against anyone helping him? Was he beyond help? So very sad indeed. Rest his soul.
